South Asia. Weird, Wild and Wonderful.

The inimitable George Bernard Shaw once said, “My way of joking is to tell the truth. It’s the funniest joke in the world.” I live in India, a land caught between a golden past and an idyllic future. Where people constantly battle the present. And life swings from the sublime to the ridiculous. Sanity requires  a bit of self-deprecation and plain-speaking. And a whole lot of story-telling. This blog, all about the weird, wild and wonderful aspects of South Asia, is an earnest attempt in that direction.
